Totally random but people and machines really suck at giving directions. Sure they’ll get you to the general area but then you look like a total fool spinning around in circles trying to find where you’re supposed to be going.
So yesterday was homecoming for my school and my friend and I met up and we were going to go in together. Now neither one of us knew exactly where we were supposed to go, so we just started walking. Eventually we saw some other students wearing fancy clothing and we just followed them.
After a few minutes we finally found where we were going but I felt totally lost and slightly foolish for not being able to figure out where to go.
This experience reminded me of Oedipus at Colonus. In the beginning of the story, it tells you that blind Oedipus is being lead by his daughter Antigone. I felt like a blind Oedipus in this situation.
